Walking tours through Lübeck’s small streets
Our guided tours will take you through our unique medieval Hanseatic city. We won’t be showing you only the highlights such as the famous Holstentor, the town hall or St. Mary’s church, but also the hidden alleyways and courtyards.
Come and take a look at the city of the seven steeples – the city of churches which reflect both the beginning as well as the climax of the Brick Gothic style up here in the North. Join us for a tour passing the town hall and historic market square, the picturesque little houses in alleyways and medieval foundations, the Hospital of the Holy Spirit, the Schiffergesellschaft (Seamen’s guildhall or Brotherhood of Captains) and much more.
Follow us on an evening tour - or a walk with a guide dressed up in historical costume – through the “Christmas town of the North”.
In summertime, let us show you shady spots along the riverside or tiny side streets adorned with rose bushes.
Wether on foot, by bus or bike, in German, English or 15 other languages – professional, well trained guides will tell your stories from the past and will inform you about the Hanseatic League, rich merchants, seamen, bishops, the bearers of the Noble Price as well as the social institutions such as the Hospital of The Holy Spirit.
Of course we also offer exciting tours and rallies for students and children of all ages.
Please also do ask us for barrier-free tours!
